Well, here I am. Already three weeks away from leaving. Its hard to believe that in just a few weeks I'll be telling everyone good-bye. While I am dreading all of the good-byes, I am so thankful to have this time in Athens to relax and have fun with roommates and friends. The time off from class made me confident that I am where I need to be, in Athens, but also that Italy was the right choice and there is much for me to learn abroad.
Speaking of Italy- just wanted to open the door for suggestions and tips for living abroad. My roommate in Italy has been planning some weekend excursions for us to go on during the 10- weeks. Any places you think I should go while I'm in Europe, please let me know! I know I could spend all my free weekends in Italy but I want to hit some highpoints of Europe too.
I also want to open the floor for any music suggestions. I am trying to load up on some good stuff before I leave. If you've found a new artist recently- let me know! (I just got Jon Foreman's album and its pretty good.)
For those readers who are still in Athens: I only have two weeks left in town. I'd love to get coffee or dinner with you so please let me know the best day and time.
